Alicia Keys has married music producer Swizz Beatz in an intimate ceremony on Saturday.
The couple tied the know in the French island of Corsica while surrounded by their closest friends and family, as self-help guru Deepak Chopra officiated the nuptials.
Keys, 29, and Beatz (Kasseem Dean), 31, announced their engagement and that they were expecting a baby in late May. Friends of the couple say that Keys is "thrilled. She's with the man who has inspired so much of her music an dher new album."
"What we have is so precious," Beatz told the New York Daily News last fall. The pair have been together since the fall of 2008.
For the wedding, Keys wore a Vera Wang goddess gown made of ivory silk and georgette with a jewel detail on the back of the shoulder. Her groom wore a Tom Ford tuxedo.
"It's a brand new day :) I feel like Nas and Diddy song :) love y’all and blessing!" Beatz Tweeted on Saturday.
This is the first marriage for Keys and the second for Beatz, who divorced from his first wife Mashonda Tifrere in 2008. He has two children, Prince Nasir Dean, who was at the wedding, and Kasseem Dean Jr. Beatz and Keys' baby is due in November.
